The Audion Silver Night Anniversary Parallel Single Ended and Push-Pull Mono-block power amplifiers are meticulously hand-wired point-to-point. These amplifiers represent our intermediate-level power offerings, utilizing well-known 300B tubes or the lesser-known PX25 or 2A3 valves (with the added ability to use Type 45 valves in the 2A3 version). The construction involves solid silver wiring (99.999% purity) in critical audio paths.
The power output varies across models:
- PSE Anniversary Silver Night 300B: Delivers 18 watts per channel of pure Class A power.
- 300B Push-Pull Model: Provides 24 watts per channel of pure Class A power.

We offer 3 upgrade classes for the Silver Night range of mono block power amplifier which consist of :-
Insignia Class which uses a full silver wired audio path, better graded components again in the audio path, tantalum resistors in the critical places and WBT binding posts.
Excelsior Class uses the same as above but with the inclusion of Teflon/Tin foil V-caps, Internal Solid Silver wired Interconnect, a 43 way Stepped attenuator, better power supply capacitors and WBT RCA’s.
Signature Reference uses the same as the Excelsior class but comes with fully silver wired audio and ground paths, silver foil in oil capacitors, solid silver wound output transformers, silver RCA’s and Binding posts,
There are options on both Insignia and Excelsior classes for solid silver wound secondaries or primaries and secondaries on the output transformer.

Description
The Audion Silver Night Anniversary mono block power amplifiers represent our intermediate range of higher power hard wired triode amplifier.
The hard wired (Air Wired) 30th Anniversary amplifiers delivering either 18 or 24 watts are wired point to point and have a volume control on the front which negates the need for a pre-amplifier in most cases, which is unusual in mono block power amplifiers.
All of our mono block triode amplifiers use unique circuits and are auto-biased so don’t need regular bias changing or complicated setting up.
Our amps are ideally suited to loudspeakers of 89db or greater efficiency but these mono-block versions can cope with slightly lower efficiency.
Sonically, The Triode valves used in the Silver Nights give subtle nuances and texture to the music allowing un-paralleled music finition retrieval. The 300B is a very well know valve that can reproduce delicacies and yet be punchy at the same time. The PX25 although a lesser known valve does (in our opinion) everything the 300B can but with even better bottom end and top kick. We can also offer these amps with the lower powered 2A3 valve, that offers the listener degrees of subtlety and finesse that do really need to be heard to be appreciated.
We also have a Special Edition Silver Night Parallel Single Ended mono block which like all the Special edition series has solid silver audio paths and silver internal interconnects, as well as our custom ” red power tubes” and feature WBT Nextgen binding posts, as well as our new look chassis.
The chassis is made of military grade aluminium, with a durable black powder coated finish. The top plate and badge are finished with mirror polished stainless steel. The special Edition models feature a full depth mirror polished stainless top plate with hidden fixings and organic valve fillets.

This Audion 24W 300B push-pull Silver Night I bought about three years ago, driving a pair of Ensemble Animata. My wife is very satiusified with the sound and the looks. Recently I got a trade-in Rogers LS3/5a. These two are much better match, although many people say that EL34 based tube gear match LS3/5a very well. For me, 300B improves the somewhat closed-in treble of LS3/5a, and has better control over the speaker, though the rated power of the Silver Night (24W), I am satisfied and can enjoy the music for a long time, though sometimes I would imagine how the sound would improve if I can get a quad of original Western Electric 300B's and NOS 6922 tubes. But the sky-high price of WE 300B always wakes me up from the dream...
